Viljami Nissi (b.1994, Kannus) is a Helsinki-based visual artist and performance maker. Nissi’s practice is inspired by his concept of homosion: homosexuality as an erosive force, with the natural power to shpae and wear down its surroundings. Where erosion wears away the earth’s crust, homosion infiltrates spaces, concepts, bodies, and minds.

Nissi has graduated from Kankaanpää School of Art with a major in performance art and holds a MFA degree from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki.
